RIDGEFIELD, NJ – The West Essex boys soccer team scored three goals in the second half to come away with a 4-1 victory over Ridgefield on Wednesday.

Kevin Rodrigues scored two goals for the Knights (5-3-3), who led, 1-0, at halftime.

Drew Cerqueira and Corey Rapkin each scored one goal for West Essex, and Gabe Adelsberg and Thaman Bhatti each had assists.

Three players took turns in goal for West Essex: Sebastian Bladek (3 saves), Tyler Gordon (2 saves) and Ivan Kardash (3 saves).
